October 1, 2004 I am happy to annouce that ARCO has made significant progress during 2003 and 2004. An outstanding meeting, coordinated by Professor K.H. Koo, was held October 9-11, 2003 on Jeju Island, South Korea. For the first time, the abstracts from this meeting were published by JBJS in their Orthopaedic Transactions. A luncheon was held for our membership during the annual meeting of the AAOS in San Francisco, California. An internet-based newsletter was established for our membership. The newsletter is a useful tool to improve communication to and between our members. We would like to announce that our next meeting will be held in London, on September 14-16, 2005. The program chair is Dr. Ines Reichart. More information about this meeting will be forwarded to you as it is finalized. It is now time to renew your annual membership to ARCO. Attached you will find a copy of the membership renewal form. Please return this by fax (1410-532-5908) or you can submit your renewal using the form on our website (www.arco-intl.org).
